    Melissa officinalis is a lemon-scented perennial in the Lamiaceae family with serrated heart-shaped leaves. For centuries, lemon balm has been used for its beneficial properties and has been highly esteemed for its emotional and spiritual effects. Melissa has traditionally been used as a gentle nervine and in baths to support healthy skin. It is often used to promote a sense of calm and can be brewed into a citrusy lemon balm tea, incorporated into other herbal tea blends, and included in body care recipes.

  • Our grown Organic Cinnamon Basil INCI: Ocimum Basilicum

    A cinnamon twist on one of our favorite garden herbs. Cinnamon basil contains many vitamins and minerals. It also attracts a wide range of pollinators.   • Local Organic Lions Mane Tincture INCI: Hericium Erinaceus

    Hericium erinaceus is an edible, toothed mushroom that grows throughout the Northern Hemisphere. Lion’s mane typically thrives on dead or dying hardwoods and nowadays is commonly cultivated. Also referred to as a bearded mushroom, lion’s mane grows as a clump of white, cascading, tooth-like spines. Both the genus and species name translate from Latin as “hedgehog”. Lions Mane has been researched for decades on its ability to stimulate the Nerve Growth Factor (NGF), improve memory, improve focus, create greater recall, act as a natural anti-depressant, stimulate the gut and help the beneficial microflora. Lions mane also boasts anti cancer, anti tumor, anti fungal, and over all immune boosting compounds. The benefits of taking the tincture compound over time, meaning that the more you take it the more good for you compounds will be in your body. This improves the effectiveness of the tincture over time.

    Bayberry Wax, sometimes known as Myrtle Wax, is a vegetable wax derived from the bayberry fruit. It is amongst the most hard to find of vegetable waxes, but has a long history in the use of making natural tapered candles. The color of Bayberry Wax can vary from lot to lot, but it is typically sage to olive green in color. The wax possesses a sweet, rich and distinctive aroma.

    Organic Rhus Sumac Berry Wax INCI: Rhus Succedanea (Sumac) Fruit Wax

    Rhus Wax serves as ideal vegan substitutes for beeswax.

    It can be used in creams, lotions, balms, lipsticks, mascara, body butters and other formulations where a smooth or creamy consistency is desired. It can serve as a thickening agent, and it lends emollience to the finished product. Rhus Wax also helps stabilize emulsions, and it provides rigidity to lipstick and other stick formulations.

    Chinese and Japanese waxes function as emollients and occlusives. They are used as lipid thickeners of emulsion systems and as ingredients in decorative cosmetic products, e.g. lip products, mascaras, and pencils for eyes and eyebrows, as they reduce their brittleness.

  • Organic Lemon Essential Oil INCI: Citrus Limon (Lemon) Peel Oil

    Organic Lemon Essential Oil, Citrus limonium, is cold pressed from the peels of the fruit. It possesses a fresh, uplifting, lemony aroma. Lemon Essential Oil makes it useful for combating oily skin and hair. Within holistic aromatherapy, the bright, citrus scent is stimulating, but it also is said to aid in focus and concentration.

  • Montmorillonite (French Green Clay) INCI: Montmorillonite

    The rich mineral content of French Green Clay rejuvenates the skin while it exfoliates and helps remove oil, dirt and debris. It promotes glowing skin that looks smoother, softer and healthier.

    French Green Clay is a highly absorbent clay that can be used in facials, body wraps, soaps, deodorizing body/foot powders. French Green Clay can also be used in the formulation of hair pastes and other hair care products that help to naturally cleanse the hair and scalp.

    French Green Clay is especially well suited for oily skin and hair applications. As French Green Clay is a highly absorbent clay, it is not recommended for use in skin care products intended for frequent use by those with dry or sensitive skin/hair. 

  • Rhassoul Clay INCI: Moroccan Lava Clay

    The rich mineral composition of Rhassoul Clay includes Silica, Magnesium and Calcium. The clay helps absorb dirt and impurities while it gently exfoliates the skin.

    Rhassoul Clay is carefully sourced and packaged to maintain the purity and and beneficial properties of this highly nutritive clay.   • Kaolin INCI: Kaolin (white clay)

    White Kaolin Clay is a mild cosmetic clay that is also known as China or White Clay. It is kaolinite and is the mildest of all clays. White Kaolin Clay is suitable for sensitive skin. It helps stimulate circulation to the skin while gently exfoliating and cleansing it. White Kaolin Clay does not draw oils from the skin and can be used on dry skin types.

  • Organic Bergamot Essential Oil INCI: Citrus Bergamia (Bergamot) Oil

    Organic Bergamot Essential Oil is cold pressed from the rinds of Citrus bergamia, a citrus fruit that is loved for its beautiful, fragrant aroma and for its numerous benefits in skincare, balancing the emotions and supporting general wellbeing. As with all of our organic ingredients, it is certified organic by CCOF. It possesses a lovely light, fresh, floral citrus aroma that is uplifting, rejuvenating, and balancing. Although lemon, lime and grapefruit essential oils are considered energizing essential oils that are best avoided before bedtime, Bergamot Essential Oil is much more relaxing and calming due to its impressive content of the ester Linalyl Acetate.
